About M•O•R•A•E•S
MORAES is a Miami-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization working to inspire future marine and environmental scientists in South Florida by offering a path to get involved in the local marine science community. We tackle local environmental issues with innovative research and conservation techniques. Through grant funding, donations, and the kindness of supporters, we have been able to offer internships, scholarships, and research opportunities to assist with habitat restorations, beach cleanups, sea turtle monitoring, cetacean research, and more!

Plastic is Removed
Every pound of coffee or tea sold funds the removal of AT LEAST one pound of ocean-bound plastic—collected before it reaches the ocean and tracked through verified cleanup efforts, from recovery to responsible processing.

It's our greatest ally in the fight against climate change—and yet, it faces mounting threats every day.
Our cleanup efforts are made possible through CleanHub. CleanHub works with waste management teams in coastal communities around the world to intercept plastic waste before it reaches the ocean. Their traceable, tech-enabled platform ensures every pound collected is verified and accounted for, allowing us to track real, measurable impact with every product sold.

Through reforestation, biodiversity protection, and sustainable land management, we help defend these vital ecosystems from the growing threat of deforestation.
To do this, we’ve partnered with One Tribe. One Tribe connects organizations to certified rainforest protection projects across the globe. Their model ensures that every contribution directly funds the conservation of endangered rainforest, protects indigenous land, and locks away carbon—helping preserve some of the planet’s most powerful carbon sinks for future generations.
