Tip # 1: Quality Matters ⭐
The quality of both the water and the matcha will greatly affect your final bowl. Use filtered water if possible. Our ceremonial-grade, stone-milled matcha meets high standards to ensure a smooth, flavorful experience every time.
Tip #2: Consume Sooner Rather Than Later ⏳
For the brightest color and flavor, enjoy your matcha within 6–12 months unopened. After opening, aim to use it within 4–8 weeks. Once prepared, whisk and sip soon for the best aroma and taste.
Tip #3: Mind Its Storage ☀️
Keep matcha in an airtight, opaque container, away from light, heat, moisture, and odors. Squeeze out extra air and reseal after each use. Avoid the fridge or freezer—condensation can cause clumps and off-flavors. A cool, dark pantry is ideal.
Tip #4: Use Good Water 💧
Water quality has a big impact on matcha—it's most of what’s in your bowl. Use fresh, cold, filtered water (then heat to ~175°F / 79°C). Avoid distilled or softened water, which can taste flat or metallic and mute matcha’s flavor.

"Blended to order" means we don't blend and package your tea until you place an order with us. You heard that right—your tea is made ready JUST for you!
You will NEVER (and we mean never) receive tea from us that is pre-scooped and has been sitting on a shelf or in a warehouse.
When can I expect my tea order to arrive?
All our tea is shipped to arrive fresh and with maximum flavor.
Domestic orders generally take 1-3 business days to process and prepare before shipping out. Once shipped, delivery takes about 1-5 business days, depending on your location.
This means you should expect to receive your fresh tea in approximately a week, if not sooner!
Does your business model affect freshness or shipping times?
Only in the best way! Our tea is hand-blended in small batches after you order, which means it's never sitting on a shelf. We ship directly from our blending studio to you—fresh and efficiently. The result? Maximum flavor and a seamless experience without added middlemen or delays.

We don't offer expedited shipping for three key reasons:

What are your shipping methods?
Each of our orders is unique, and the shipping package and method are based on what's best for the shipping process. In general:
Orders containing a single 3-oz or 12-oz bag ship via USPS First Class
Orders containing a single 16-oz bag ship via FedEx 2Day
Orders containing 2 to 8 packages ship via USPS Priority Mail (flat rate or regional)
Orders containing 9 or more packages ship via UPS ground
Do you fulfill or ship orders on weekends?
While we're always working to get your tea to you as quickly as possible, we don’t process or ship orders over the weekend. We believe in supporting a healthy work-life balance for our team, which means weekends are time for rest and family. Any orders placed on Saturday or Sunday will begin processing first thing Monday!

Do you ship your tea internationally?

What is your tea's return policy?
Because tea is a food product and because our tea is blended to order especially for YOU, we can't accept returns (unless we've specifically requested a return in writing). Plus, that would be a bit gross and bad for the environment, wouldn’t it?
However, if your order was incorrect or damaged in transit, you were dissatisfied with your tea, have questions about how to brew it, or have general concerns about its quality, our Brew Crew is standing by to help!
Please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order, and we'll do everything we can to make it right.

I ordered the wrong tea, what should I do?!
If you just placed your order and/or your tea has NOT shipped (i.e., you haven't received a shipping notification email yet), please contact us immediately and we should be able to fish out and cancel your order in time so that you may place a new one.
If your tea has already shipped or was delivered and either an error was made or you aren't happy with the tea, please contact us so we can make it right!
However, since tea is a perishable product, we CANNOT accept any tea returns.
Can I exchange my tea order?
